Heya Gamers,

Here's some updates regarding our group since some of you might be looking for a game in the city.

Who: Five motivated gamers with varied experiences in the pen and paper RPG genre. Begginers are welcomed.
What: 1st Edition AD&D (We planned on rotating dm duties as well open to trying out what other systems out there).
Where: In San Francisco, currently at a cafe on Geary and 26th Ave. called Cafe Enchante in the Richmond District.
When: We play every sunday nite starting around 6pm till 9pm when the cafe closes.
How: We utilize minis, battle matts and other accessories like critical hit and critical fumble decks.
Why: This reason is simple. We just want to really actually "play" the game and hopefully have a good time doing it and not just only "talk" about it.

Last session left the party opening a pair of moss covered yet solid looking doors after battling some skeletal warriors and a watch dog. Most pcs are humans and are 2nd and 3rd levels. They consist of a fighter, a cleric, a ranger, a mage, and a fighter/illusionist. Any questions or if you want to just check us out, feel free to post here or stop by at the above addy. G'luck and happy gaming. Now roll that initiative!!! - fire415

Heya Gamers,

Quick updates. Gaming this sunday is on, same time and place. Any changes please update here or e-mail me directly.

Last we left off, the party decided to formulate a plan to close off the secret passage to the Underdark to prevent pursuit. The witch is researching the alchemist's notes in regards to finding an alchemical solution while the others rotate sentries by the secret door after resetting the trapped floor. Correct me if i am wrong in this and will change it accordingly.

We will pick up where we left off when Druissila has concocted a brew that will hopefully seal up the secret passage. The only risk would be that it might trigger an underground cave-in since parts of this area, the party have discovered, is unstable. If any of the party members want to do anything during this interlude, we can activate the play by post option till we actually meet up on sunday. As usual feel free to give me your feedback. -fire

Role Call:

Balder: 1st level multiclass gnome fighter/illusionist

Druissila: 2nd level human wizard

Keoki: 3rd level human cleric of Heng

Roland: 2nd level human ranger

"Slim": 2nd level half-elven thief

Finnias(sp?): 2nd level dwarven cleric of Ahto

Our intrepid heroes continue their adventures below Castle Caldwell and find that he is not the true master of the house...

With an outstretched hand, Keoki grabbed hold of Lady Belladonna Nightseer's armored sword arm as she screeched in painful agony. Keoki was hurled back as he witnessed the greenish aura of his curing spell engulf the shuddering figure. The first lady of the line of Nightseers turned to sweep her gaze upon the battle weary adventurers with a new visage that spoke relief. Her once malevolent face now showed a serene beauty that belied her demeanor. She whispered a soft, yet audible "Thank You." and within a few moments her skeletal form disintegrated to a sooty, black ash that quickly dispersed in the semi dark tomb. Her only passing is marked by the shower of her silvery chainmail and bloodied longsword hitting the cold stone floor with a final, resounding clang of metal on metal.

With two remaining skeletal figures huddling in front of the closed northern double doors, our team of would be heroes gripped their weapons tighter as they prepared to finish off what they stumbled into below Castle Caldwell. What was once thought to be a simple job of eradicating vermins and evicting unwanted guests, now turned into a rescue mission that time will only tell. Stay tuned till next sunday as they continue on their task of finding the last heir of the Nightseer in hopes of freeing his half-elven daughter from the silver-white cursed mirror. Sardal Nightseer... Where, oh, where in Toril can you be?

If you want to know more about our group, please feel free to post here. Till next time someone misses on their save...happy gaming! -fire

Heya Gamers,

Updates on the group as one of our party members left for the UK. Our Shadowrun game has been cancelled. We hope he will have found another group there to game with. We, on the other hand, will still continue on the AD&D theme with a new DM, using the same characters, in about 3-4 weeks. Stay tuned for further news. If interested or curious, we do network with other groups and games in the area. Currently our group is full but open to friendly envoys and game enthusiasts. -fire

Heya Gamers,

It's a jungle out there! Updates with our surviving crew of heroes. Mike will now take over as DM and have started the group off with a jungle fever adventure. We will meet again to continue the campaign this sunday, same time and place.

Meanwhile, Shab was lost to the party when his "father" came to collect him. A spawn of one Duke of Hell, Shab was spirited away back to the nether realm where he will be taught to pursue their evil ways as he was destined to do.

A wayward dwarven berserker by the name of Kilo Thergan, who was seeking shelter, has found his way in joining the group. After recieving their rewards for freeing Sardal and his daughter, Ebony, they feasted the nite away. In the still of the nite, after they retired to their respective chambers, the party found themselves mysteriously transported(no thanks to Sardal's miscasting his spells of fortifications) in the heart of a thickly lush jungle. Keoki is nowhere to be found after a battle with an alien creature and the party have inherited the memories of a group of monks on a quest to search for a falling star. To be continued... -fire

Heya Gamers,

Just a small hiccup in our scheds this coming weekend. We will be meeting saturday on Aug. 8th, rather than sunday, at the usual time and place. Will continue where we left off exploring further into the mountain in search of the "falling star". Any questions, feel free to post here or contact our hosts. May you roll high on your saves! -fire
